He completed his medical education at Guy’s Hospital Medical School, London University in London, England with postgraduate training and residency at Corewell William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, along with fellowship training in the subspecialty field of allergy & clinical immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He is currently on the medical staff of the Corewell William Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak).  He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology as well as a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He is also a clinical assistant professor at the Oakland University Corewell William Beaumont School of Medicine and Central Michigan University College of Medicine. He has been in private practice since 1989. Dr. Patel has also been named a Top Doctor by Hour Detroit Magazine.

Abdul H. Bahrainwala, M.D. – Dr. Bahrainwala is a board-certified physician in both pediatrics and allergy & immunology. He completed his medical school at T.N. Medical College, affiliated with the University of Bombay in Bombay, India. He then completed his postgraduate medical residency and subspeciality fellowship training in allergy and clinical immunology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He is currently on the medical staff of the Corewell William Beaumont Hospitals (Royal Oak and Troy). He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology as well as a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Mohamad Y. Tawila, M.D. – Dr. Tawila is a board-certified physician in both internal medicine and allergy & immunology. He completed his medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with postgraduate training and residency at Corewell William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, along with fellowship training in the subspeciality field of allergy & clinical immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
